We are a small Bed and Breakfast comprising of two guest bedrooms, both located on the upper floor alongside a large open plan guest lounge and breakfast dining area.

Both bedrooms look out to open fields with cattle and sheep and the guest lounge /dining area looks out across the Pentland Firth towards the Orkney Islands.

We are located in a very quiet area, away from traffic and noise but easily accessable by car or walking , with ample free safe parking.

The Pentland ferry runs many trips daily from Gills Bay to Orkney and is less than a five minute drive from here. We are the closest B&B to the famous Stacks of Duncansby and only a five minute walk to what feels like your own private beach.

In the centre of John O Groats (aprox 20 minute walk/less than 5 minutes by car) is the 8 Doors Distillery, the Cafe Groat, the John O Groats Brewery and Tap Room, the Seaview Hotel serving evening meals, Flavours Ice Creams and the Edinburgh Wool Mill along with a few gift shops.

Sea or land tours can be arranged by prior arrangement. Breakfast is included, however if you require an early departure a packed Lunch can be substituted.

We offer an extensive Breakfast menu to cater for dietary requirements where possible.
